Inspired by a lifelong passion for health and wellness, combined with years of experience in the fitness industry, Ken Meares has created products and services that have improved the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. In the late 70’s, Mr. Meares founded Body Designers, a company that supplied fitness equipment to health clubs before subsequently going on to build the first Gold’s Gyms. His next venture was SportsCare International (SCI), a sports medicine company focusing on sports related injuries in the early 2000’s. During this period Mr. Meares garnered extensive knowledge on pain management and inflammatory conditions which inspired the discovery of the proprietary, natural anti-inflammatory, PCSO-524, which he branded as Omega XL.
His drive for finding natural solutions for pain relief, along with his understanding of the many damaging effects of inflammation, led to the vision of creating the vertically integrated healthcare and technology company known today as Great HealthWorks, Inc. The company was founded in 2003 and fueled by the unprecedented success of the flagship product, Omega XL.
Mr. Meares has expanded the Great HealthWorks brand to include more than 70 exceptional physician formulated, nutraceutical and skincare products. He tirelessly innovates to improve the core competencies of the company which include: multimedia production, media purchasing, product development, distribution, and customer care.
In order to provide consumers additional value, he spearheaded NewYou.com, a real-time digital publication providing unbiased health, fitness, beauty and celebrity news. It serves as the editorial partner to Great HealthWorks.
Mr. Meares is known and appreciated for creating a dynamic corporate culture where every member of the company feels inspired and motivated to devote their best efforts to improving the health and well-being of their valued customers.
Finally, and most importantly, Mr. Meares is an active member of his community and dedicates part of his time to serve on the board of numerous charitable foundations. His contributions over the years have made a difference in the lives of children, women’s health, wounded warriors and multiple other causes.
Miles DuPree formed Pro Logic Computer Systems which developed the world’s largest travel accounting system. This system was responsible for processing 175,000 airline tickets daily, which represented annual sales of over 25 Billion dollars. Miles moved on to open several other companies Great HealthWorks, and Great Virtual Works which has become one of the leaders in the technology and virtual call center world. Through these companies, we have access to production studios, full national and regional media purchasing, customer service, product fulfillment, virtual call centers, and e-learning and training services. With over 450 employees and thousands of associates working from home, we have access to the best and brightest talent throughout the nation in multiple areas of expertise. Together with a vast amount of resources, Miles DuPree joined to create TowZing with a vision to transform the future of roadside assistance.
Co-Founder, Craig Goldstein, has had one of the most unique and successful towing operations in the state of Florida. A degree in electrical engineering and former licensed insurance adjuster, Craig created a very diversified business model accredited to his vision. Starting out with a body shop, Craig quickly understood that owning towing operations could enhance his opportunities for body work. Craig quickly grew his towing business into an over fifty vehicle operation with thirteen Florida municipalities under contract. Having some relationships over 20-years, Craig has never lost a relationship once under contract. Craig’s driving force with TowZing is to create a technology company that changes the broken models in this space today and providing customers and clients the service they deserve around the country.
Co-founder of TowZing, Bud Gruber owns and operates one of the most successful towing companies on the west coast in Florida, based in Naples. Since 2004, Bud has grown Bald Eagle Towing into a state recognized operation who not only runs a successful, talent rich organization, but Bud has spent years supporting the towing industry around the country. As a member of the Towing and Recovery Association of America (TRAA), Bud was selected to become the voice of the industry working to improve relations with the Motor Clubs. He traveled the country meeting with senior executives to address opportunities in the industry. Bud is a Co -founder of Sunshine State Towing Association and a key member of the Professional Wrecker Operators of Florida (PWOF).
Rex A. Dunn
Before co-founding Towzing, Rex Dunn spent 20 years working for other top organizations in the industry. His career at Citigroup, General Electric, and Allstate Insurance provided him with unparalleled experience as a Senior Vice President in business management, organizational success, client relations, sales, and contract negotiations. Rex has negotiated and contracted with over 13,000 independent towing companies in three countries, 16 manufactures, 10 direct to consumer businesses, 2 government agencies, and countless industry events. Along with contract execution, Rex was responsible for over four large call centers located in the United States, Canada, and India. His successful career has yielded year-over- year growth of over 30% over a span of 18 years in the roadside assistance field. For his achievements Rex was awarded five President Awards and two America’s Awards. Rex has had extensive training in Six Sigma achieving not only Green and Black belt level training, but Lean training as well. Rex has experience and training in many corporate training programs ranging from media to unions. Rex is excited to take his years of experience and knowledge back into the industry as a co-owner of Towzing.

Anthony started his career in the financial services industry as a financial advisor for Fidelity Investments, ultimately leading him to become a market manager for Capital One. After 9 years in the financial industry, Anthony took hold of an opportunity to operate and manage a service company in the southwest. Managing a successful sale of several service territories, he then joined Allstate Insurance. Over the past 6 years, Anthony has managed the provider network nationwide with a main focus on medium and heavy services. Successfully managing roadside for an OEM partner of Allstate within the client account division, Anthony was recruited by the TowZing team to join in on transforming the towing industry as we know it.
Sam Johnson hails from three generations of automotive business owners where he has grown up in and worked at dealerships, collision repair and towing companies. With over 25 years of industry experience in the Collision repair and Towing industries he has become an ambassador of professionalism and positive change in his respective industries. With over a decade of service for the California Tow Truck Association on the Executive Board he served as Legislative Committee Chairman influencing change and protecting his fellow towers from impeding legislative attacks. He also serves on the UCMCS board with a passion for improving the roadside safety of the towing industry for the individual operator. He owns two of Sacramento’s longest established towing companies with robust reputations for excellent customer service. As a success story hailing from the trades he also gives back with his public speaking and advocacy work as The Blue Collar Guy talking to high risk youth and sharing the story on how the trades can provide for great opportunity. Sam has joined TowZing as brand ambassador and advocate from the perspective of a tower to improve this industry and help put the tower back in the drivers’ seat.
